Storyline

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a goalkeeper in school football team.Bannerjee a school cricket coach asks him to join his cricket team and practice daily with him for two hours time passes and he becomes a big state level cricketer but for a long time his luck doesn't favor him to become a member of Indian Cricket team.Dhoni takes up a job in Indian Railways as a ticket checker and plays cricket for the railways after long wait of 4 years he gets selected in Indian Cricket team and turns to be one of the best cricketing captains in history of Indian Cricket.


M S Dhoni, a boy from Ranchi, aspires to play cricket for India. Though he initially tries to please his father by working for the Indian Railways, he ultimately decides to chase his dreams.

The actor trained hard at the nets to perfect Dhoni’s batting style, so he could justify the role on screen. Sushant, who put in a lot of time trying to pull off Dhoni's style, was trained by former wicketkeeper Kiran More. More took to social media to express his sadness after the sudden demise of the actor.

 "It is a shocking moment for me personally, @itsSSR was someone whom I trained for the role as @msdhoni. I don't know how I or anyone who knows him will be able to recover from this shock, gone too soon my friend #SushantSinghRajput #RIPSushant," More tweeted. The role earned him nationwide appreciation as he was lauded for his performance by critics and fans.


After being selected for the role, Rajput was trained by none other than former Indian wicketkeeper Kiran More and spent almost 9 months with More to master the mannerisms of Dhoni on the field.

Former India captain MS Dhoni was shattered and heartbroken to hear the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput on Sunday. This was after the 34-year-old actor was found dead at his Mumbai residence.

To my mind MS Dhoni has redefind leadership as an act where a person is more concious about team effort as well as leading the team well.  In 1998, M.S.Dhoni, who had been playing only in school and club level cricket till then, was selected to play for the Central Coal Fields Limited (CCL) team. He impressed Deval Sahay, an ex-Bihar Cricket Association Vice-President,with his determination and hard-hitting skills, which opened up opportunities for him to play in First Class cricket. During the 1998-99 season, he failed to make it to the East Zone U-19 squad or Rest of India squad, but he was selected for the East Zone U-19 squad for the CK Nayudu trophy in the next season. Unfortunately, he could not perform well and his team finished last in the tournament.
