In 1998, M.S.Dhoni, who had been playing only in school and club level cricket till then, was selected to play for the Central Coal Fields Limited (CCL) team. He impressed Deval Sahay, an ex-Bihar Cricket Association Vice-President,with his determination and hard-hitting skills, which opened up opportunities for him to play in First Class cricket. During the 1998-99 season, he failed to make it to the East Zone U-19 squad or Rest of India squad, but he was selected for the East Zone U-19 squad for the CK Nayudu trophy in the next season. Unfortunately, he could not perform well and his team finished last in the tournament. He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Bihar cricket team during the 1999-2000 season with a score of 68 not out in the second innings. Image
Former Indian cricket team's captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, or 'Mahi', as fans call him, is known for his calm personality on the field. It also earned him the title of 'captain cool' which refers to his temperament, but for those who love motorcycles, the 'cool' refers to his collection of bikes. His love for bikes is widely known and has been there even before Mahi joined mainstream cricket. It started with a Rajdoot and has now expanded to some of the most exotic bikes up for grabs in the world. The list is long so let's get to it. We couldn't choose a favourite among all these motorcycles and hence, the list is in no particular order. Rajdoot The Rajdoot was Dhoni's first ever bike which he got for Rs 4,500 and being away on cricket tours meant the bike needed some attention. M S DHONI : A Born Leader

Image
“ Leaders are born not made ”.” Leaders are made not born ”. Probably both these phrases contradict each other yet both are true. To my mind MS Dhoni has redefind leadership as an act where a person is more concious about team effort as well as leading the team well. Dhoni is someone who backs other players when they are not performing too well. Unlike dictators where only job of leader is to give orders,Dhoni leads from the front. He is someone who will take all blame for poor performance of team and no credit for achievement. He believes that cricket is not just a game but an emotion and it is a great leveller as it teaches you how to remain humble. In a nutshell Dhoni is a great leader and a benign human being too. MS Dhoni has been an excellent example of a small town boy making it big in national and international cricket purely by hard work and determination. His Captain Cool attitude is something that needs to be really looked into and studied (the movie showed him as som...
